FAQ
Do I have to have any boating experience to hire one of your boats? Our motor boats require no previous boating experience at all, you will be given instructions before setting off. Previous sailing experience is an advantage when hiring one of our Picarooners, the Devon Yawl and Pocket Cruisers.

Do you provide all the equipment we need? Yes, everything you will need is onboard, including all your safety equipment, charts and local information sheets, oars, and enough fuel to last all day - we will also fit you with lifejackets. You may like to bring extra coats and trousers for those grey days.

How far can we go? Tides permitting you can go all the way up to Truro, and everywhere within the river up to a line from St Mawes to Pendennis Castle. Our pocket cruisers can also explore the Helford river.

Do I have to book? Booking is advisable, especially in the high summer weeks, however you can give us a call anytime to check availability.
